Cancellation Policies
At Cusco VIP Tours, we understand that travel plans can change. However, as many of our services (such as Machu Picchu tickets, train tickets, and expert local guides) are booked in advance and involve non-refundable costs, the following cancellation policies apply:
Standard Cancellation Terms
Cancellations made more than 45 days before the scheduled tour start date will receive a partial refund, minus administrative fees and non-refundable deposits for government permits (Inca Trail) or entrance tickets.
Machu Picchu & Train Tickets
Please note that entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and train tickets issued by PeruRail or Inca Rail are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once issued, as per government regulations.
Last-Minute Cancellations
Cancellations made within 15 days or less of the tour date, or no-shows on the day of the service, are 100% non-refundable. We highly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected changes.
Modifications
Modifications to your tour dates are subject to availability and may incur additional fees dependent on the rules of our third-party providers (hotels, train companies, and government ticket offices).
